On July 15, Wango Electric's smart IoT OLED display release announced that the company has officially launched a new generation of transparent OLED screens with transparency increased to 40%. The new screen is "Wango Wango WG550WE1", which reduces panel power consumption by 5% and increases light transmittance by 10% by replacing the core display material, "polarizer."

For general OLED screens, when light passes through the polarizer, the brightness decreases by more than 20%, resulting in poor light efficiency. To overcome the shortcomings of the polarizer, the display industry has made various attempts. Wango's display is the first to internalize the external light reflection function of the polarizer, while also improving the panel's light efficiency by 10%.

Currently, Wango Wango WG550WE1 is the first to use this LG LED screen. The company stated that this OLED screen has also made a certain contribution to the exhibition of high-tech. This technology can provide more light for commercial displays in the panel, thereby ensuring applications based on UPC technology.
