Some knowledge points about LED large screens

2021-12-03

Based on application areas, LED large screens can be roughly divided into outdoor LED large screens and indoor LED large screens. Relatively speaking, the materials and manufacturing processes of outdoor LED large screens are much stricter than those of indoor LED large screens. This is mainly because outdoor environmental conditions are much harsher than indoor conditions, and there are more uncontrollable or uncertain factors. This means that outdoor LED large screens need to have many characteristics to ensure stable and long-term operation.

So what characteristics should outdoor LED large screens have?

1). High protection.

In outdoor environments, rainwater and dust should be considered. Therefore, LED large screens must have a high protection level, with a waterproof and dustproof rating of at least IP65. Only in this way can rainwater and dust be prevented from entering the display screen, preventing it from affecting the normal operation of the display screen. Better yet, if the protection level of the LED display module can be IP68, after all, the IP68 level can completely prevent water or dust from entering the display module, and the module can operate normally even when placed in water.

2) Flame retardant and fireproof.

Of course, as far as LED large screens are concerned, we believe that even indoor display screens should be flame retardant and fireproof. However, relatively speaking, outdoor LED large screens have higher requirements for flame retardancy and fire prevention, mainly because outdoor temperatures are generally higher. For example, in Middle Eastern countries, outdoor temperatures are higher, especially when LED large screens are placed on rooftops or in outdoor areas without any shelter, they need to withstand higher temperatures. In this case, die-cast aluminum modules are more suitable than plastic modules because die-cast aluminum is not only flame retardant and fireproof, but also has better heat dissipation. Die-cast aluminum will not deform due to excessively high outdoor temperatures, nor will it spontaneously combust. Therefore, many of the aluminum module LED large screens we see are mostly used outdoors, and relatively few aluminum modules are used indoors.

3) Energy saving and low power consumption.

Many people may only consider Price when choosing LED large screens, without considering power consumption. In fact, power consumption is also very important, especially for outdoor LED displays. Generally speaking, the Size of LED large screens installed outdoors is relatively large because there is enough space outdoors, and larger LED large screens can cover a wider range and reach more audiences. Generally speaking, the larger the Size of the LED large screen, the higher the power consumption. However, there are many ways to reduce the power consumption of the display screen, such as energy-saving power supply technology, which can improve the energy utilization rate of the display screen and reduce power consumption. Its power reduction effect can reach 30%~75%, which can greatly reduce electricity costs and save a lot of electricity costs per year. On the other hand, the energy-saving technology used in LED large screens improves the utilization rate of electricity, so the loss of electricity will naturally be reduced, and the heat generated by the display screen during operation will naturally be reduced, which can also extend the service life of the display screen. Therefore, when choosing LED large screens to be installed outdoors, we should also consider energy saving and low power consumption.

Double-sided advertising machines are widely used in shopping malls, museums, and licensing halls.

A double-sided display advertising machine is an advertising display device with a double-sided screen. It usually uses liquid crystal display technology and can simultaneously play two different advertising contents, one facing the front audience and the other facing the rear audience. This design maximizes space utilization and improves the exposure rate and dissemination effect of advertisements. Double-sided display advertising machines usually have high brightness, high contrast, and a wide viewing angle to ensure that clear and vivid images can be presented in different environments. It also supports various playback methods, such as loop playback, timed playback, and remote control, so that advertisers can flexibly manage and adjust according to their needs. In addition to the advertisement playback function, some double-sided display advertising machines can also provide other value-added services, such as touch screen interaction, facial recognition, and data statistics, to meet the needs of different industries and scenarios. In general, a double-sided display advertising machine is an efficient and flexible advertising display device. Through the design of a double-sided screen, it can achieve two-way display, improve the exposure and dissemination effect of advertisements, and bring more commercial value to advertisers.
